Baby Shower

My dear friend Ebony hosted a wonderful baby shower for us.  The theme was "Ohh Baby it's Cold Outside."  Inspiration came from Pinterest of course.  Since my shower was during the holidays and since I wanted to keep cost low in general, below are some ways we cut cost.  Following the pictures, I have listed 5 ways to have a baby shower on a "budget."

5 WAYS TO HAVE A BABY SHOWER ON A BUDGET.

1. Free Venue. Instead of paying to rent a venue, we had the shower at my house for free.

2. Seasonal theme.  Our theme fell in line with the season so we used seasonal decoration from nature like free pine cones from the back yard.

3.  House hold items also were used to decorate, such as wine glasses and vases we already had on hand.

4.  Freinds with resources. One of my friends had access to tables, chairs and table clothes and let us use them for...you guessed it...FREE! (Thanks Ruthie :-))

5. DIY decorations.  Ebony came up with creative inexpensive "do it yourself decorations", such as dying, painting and adding glitter to the pine cones.

These are just some of the things that kept the cost low, but still allowed for a well decorated, nice, and intimate winter baby shower.

Thank you to my family and friends that made this day special and possible.  Special thanks to Ebony for her time and creativity, from the decor to the food, you did an awesome job!
